BANGOR, Maine (March 7, 2014) – This evening, the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches (MABC) presented its Media Award to William J. “Bim” Gibson. The award for outstanding coverage of Maine high school basketball was presented at the 2014 Maine McDonald’s® High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games awards banquet in Bangor, Maine.

Maine Red Claws/Maine McDonald’s Team of the Year Award Recipients Announced; The Team of the Year Award is based on community service, sportsmanship and academic excellence.

2014 MR. AND MISS MAINE BASKETBALL SEMI-FINALISTS ANNOUNCED

Local Maine McDonald's Owner/Operators and the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches (MABC) today announced the 21 semi-finalists for the 2014 Mr. and Miss Maine Basketball Awards, presented to one outstanding male high school senior and one outstanding female high school senior basketball player in the state.  The award, the state's highest basketball honor, recognizes the players’ performances on the court, as well as their contributions to their teams and to Maine basketball.

Today, the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches (MABC) announced the A/B East and West and C/D West player selections for the 2014 Maine McDonald's® High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games.

Players representing more than 70 high schools from across the state have been honored with selection to the All-Star teams. The All-Stars were selected based upon ballot returns in a statewide high school basketball coaches’ vote conducted by the MABC in January.

The Maine Association of Basketball Coaches (MABC) today announced selections for the 2014 Maine McDonald's® High School Senior All-State Academic Team.  The ten boys and ten girls selected were nominated by their coaches and were chosen to represent the more than 148 high schools in the state of Maine.

The 2014 Maine State Foul Shooting Champions will be decided at the Maine McDonald's® High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games on Saturday, March 8, 8:30 – 9:00 a.m. at Husson University in Bangor.  Earlier this year, the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches (MABC) organized the competitions that determined the regional finalists across Maine.

BANGOR, Maine (March 9, 2013) -- Today, the Girls C/D East Senior All-Star Team took it to the hoop and defeated the Girls C/D West All-Star Team by a score of 74 - 70 at the Maine McDonald’s® High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games held at Husson University in Bangor.

BANGOR, Maine (March 9, 2013) -- Today, the Girls A/B East Senior All-Star Team took it to the hoop and defeated the Girls A/B West All-Star Team by a score of 119 - 67 at the Maine McDonald’s® High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games held at Husson University in Bangor.

Bangor, Maine (March 9, 2013) -- The Maine State Foul Shooting Champions were decided on today at the Maine McDonald's High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games at Husson University in Bangor.

Emily Keene of Spruce Mountain H.S. hit 49 out of 50 shots winning the Maine State Foul Shooting competition for the girls. Megan Ireland, Presque Isle H.S. was 45 for 50. Jillian Woodard, Orono H.S., sank 42 foul shots out of 50 and Chloe Smedley, York H.S., was 39 for 50 from the line.
