BANGOR, Maine (March 8, 2014) -- Today, the Girls A/B West Senior All-Star Team took it to the hoop and defeated the Girls A/B East All-Star Team by a score of 83-44 at the Maine McDonald’s® High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games held at Husson University in Bangor.
Allie Clement of Catherine McAuley H.S. led the way for the West with 21 points, followed by Tiana-Jo Carter of Lake Region H.S. with 16. Leading the East scoring was Anna MacKenzie of Nokomis High School with 10 points followed by Hannah Shaw of Mount Desert Island High School with 7 points.
Clement also won the Girls 3-Point Shoot-Out hitting 10 shots. Kory Norcross of Edward Little H.S. and Morgan Thompson of Schenck H.S. tied for second place each sinking 9 3-pointers.
The 2014 All-Star Basketball Games marks McDonald’s 26th year as lead sponsor of this event.
